New York was inbounding the ball and had its reset timeout remaining, but opted not to use it and passed to Breanna Stewart at half court on their last possession. She threw the ball toward the hoop in desperation and missed.After the game, Stewart said she had asked officials if the Liberty had a reset timeout remaining and was told they did not. She scored 35 points, including 25 in the first half."We're not focused on winning three games straight right now," Stewart said. "We're focused on winning one game, and that's Friday, and then we go from there. This group has experience.
