Half an hour enough for the top – Inter crushes Parma with blitzkrieg

The international break seemed to have worked like a hyperbaric chamber for Inter. They emerged refreshed, rested and rejuvenated… While many teams are struggling to regain their momentum after an unusually long international window, the break appears to have come at just the right time for the Nerazzurri.Admittedly, Inter received plenty of help from Parma today, who opened the door themselves as early as the 13th minute, effectively inviting the Milan side to come and collect the points. Such a gift is not one you turn down, and the game was practically over within half an hour, with Inter leading 3-0.𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐆𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄 𝐀 🔝⚫🔵 Inter cruise to a 𝟑-𝟎 victory over Parma to claim the top spot in Serie A 💪 Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Marcus Thuram and Petar Sučić all get on the scoresheet ⚽ The Nerazzurri now have 16 points from six games, but Roma, who play Como tomorrow, are right on their heels 🫨 🇮🇹 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘 𝗔 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 1️⃣ Inter — 6 games — 16 points (+10) 2️⃣ Roma — 5 games — 13 points (+11) 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗔 🍿👀— 433 (@433) October 10, 2026 Former prolific striker Alberto Gilardino made his debut in the Parma dugout tonight, taking charge of the club whose shirt he once wore while regularly finding the back of the net. This time, however, only his own team conceded, meaning Gilardino will hardly look back fondly on his first match in charge of the Gialloblu. The biggest culprit was the goalkeeper. Corvi made a catastrophic mistake in the 13th minute as Parma insisted on playing their way out of Inter's press at all costs. The goalkeeper played a poor pass towards Keita on the edge of the penalty area, with Sucic already breathing down the defender's neck. The Croatian midfielder dispossessed him and immediately fired the ball underneath the crossbar to make it 1-0.GOOOAL! ⚽️ P. However, everything fell apart after they conceded, like a bucket of milk being knocked over.Just five minutes later, the deficit had already doubled. Diego Carlos was late with his challenge on Pio Esposito, standing on the striker's foot, and following a VAR review, Inter were awarded a penalty. Calhanoglu stepped up and converted it to make it 2-0.🚨GOOOOOOOAL‼️‼️‼️‼️ ⚽️Hakan Calhanoglu makes it two from spot 🇮🇹 Inter 2-0 Parma https://t.co/rq54NvU3US— X_GÖAL (@Xrkt111686) October 10, 2026 Parma soon found themselves three goals behind. In the 31st minute, Thuram capped an assist from Mkhitaryan with a shot into the far corner, making it 3-0. By that point, it was clear to everyone that the contest was effectively over. The only remaining question was whether Inter would extend their advantage even further.🚨GOOOOOOOAL‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ ⚽ Marcus Thuram right footed shot from the right side of the box. 🇮🇹 Inter 3-0 Parma https://t.co/vmthai6rpG— X_GÖAL (@Xrkt111686) October 10, 2026 Federico Dimarco did everything he could to help Inter add another goal, proving to be one of the liveliest players on the pitch. Many of the Nerazzurri's promising attacking moves came through him, but the scoreline remained unchanged for the rest of the match.SERIE A – MATCHDAY 6SaturdayGenoa – Fiorentina 2-1 (2-0)/Osmajic 7, Messias 15 – Vasquez 73 og/Inter – Parma 3-0 (3-0)/Sucic 13, Calhanoglu 18 pen, Thuram 31/21.45: (1.48) Napoli (4.40) Frosinone (6.75) Sunday13.30: (2.55) Como (3.40) Roma (2.70) 16.00: (1.60) Lazio (3.90) Monza (6.00) 16.00: (4.00) Lecce (3.45) Bologna (1.95)19.00: (4.40) Sassuolo (3.50) Milan (1.85) 21.45: (6.00) Cagliari (3.90) Juventus (1.60)Monday19.30: (1.55) Atalanta (4.20) Venezia (5.90)21.45: (2.35) Torino (3.30) Udinese (3.10) ***odds are subject to change***
