with a field goal.Meanwhile, St.Joseph's Girls Kitale had arrived in Morogoro as defending champions and the team to beat having strengthened their place in FEASSSA hockey history.The Trans-Nzoia side won the title in Mbale, Uganda, in 2024, retained it on home soil in Kakamega in 2025, and have now made it three consecutive championships in Morogoro.But unlike their dominant semi-final victory over Kakungulu Memorial, the final against Ng'iya Girls required resilience until the very end.Salome Ayoo put St. Joseph's ahead in the 19th minute with a field goal, but Ng'iya refused to an unusual turn as Nyanza and Chesamis both left the court during their respective matches, citing the fading light as play stretched towards darkness.Chepsaita had staged a remarkable comeback against Nyanza, recovering from two sets down before the match was disrupted.With Nyanza subsequently stepping off the court in protest over the playing conditions, the match was awarded to
