This will go a long way in motivating more youthful and middle-aged women to join us. We are hopeful that we will realise success, just like the Mutei Grannies, and rise all the way to the County League, " said Kiplimo, who played as a winger at Sergoit Secondary School. At the same time, Kiplimo, who previously featured for Kessup FC, expressed confidence that the team will, in the meantime, punch above its weight in the forthcoming tournaments."At the moment, we are preparing for various tournaments, including the Governor wa Raia Cup. This support will motivate us to do well. At the same time, we hope to bring in more women on board and ensure they are busy and physically fit," she added.Besides the players, team officials and fans, Elgeyo Marakwet County's Executive Committee Member of Education and Technical Training Purity Koima, along with her Lands, Urban and Development counterpart Thomas Maiyo, graced the event. Also present were Tambach Ward Administrator Judy Chebet and the County's Chief Officer of the ICT Department, Daniel Kimutai.
