Barcelona wasted no time putting their El Clasico disappointment behind them, producing a ruthless attacking display to thrash Alaves 6-1 and reclaim top spot in La Liga. After Kylian Mbappe's brace inspired Real Madrid to end Barca's nine-game winning streak at Camp Nou last weekend, the Catalans returned to winning ways spectacularly.Raphinha and Lamine Yamal both struck twice, while Fermin Lopez and Anthony Gordon also got on the scoresheet in a commanding performance.Barcelona 6 -1 Alavés. #resumen #BarcaAlaves #FCBarcelona https://t.co/GjwmBc2PrZ— Aldo Chávez Ribera (@Aldo_ChavezR) November 1, 2026 The hosts made a flying start, with Raphinha opening the scoring after just eight minutes, turning home Lopez's dangerous delivery. The midfielder then doubled the Blaugrana's advantage with a powerful finish across Alaves goalkeeper Antonio Sivera. The Brazilian and Lopez combined again for the third goal before Yamal put the result beyond doubt just before half-time, capping a brilliant team move with a superb half-volley.##EDITORS_CHOICE##Fresh from finishing third in Monday's Ballon d'Or voting, Yamal added his second with a delightful chip over Sivera. Substitute Gordon then produced an almost identical finish 17 minutes later to make it six.Raphinha has now scored 15 La Liga goals this season, four more than his closest pursuer, Mbappe, while Yamal sits third in the scoring charts with 10.Alaves managed a late consolation when Mariano Diaz capitalised on a loose back pass from Rodri and slotted past Joan Garcia, but the damage had long been done.##NAJAVA_MECA_10076435##Barcelona now hold a two-point advantage over Atletico Madrid, who had temporarily climbed to the summit with a 2-0 win over Levante earlier on Saturday.
