Despite Schalke's 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid in Sunday's friendly, the atmosphere around the German club remained positive. However, the occasion was marred by an ugly incident that occurred shortly after the final whistle.According to Bild and Welt, around 25 minutes after the match ended, three men reportedly forced their way into the restricted security area outside the players' dressing-room corridor. The zone is normally reserved for players, coaches, club employees and accredited journalists.Schalke 0-3 Real Madrid⚽️ Mbappe 6'⚽️ Huijsen 20'⚽️ Espi 57'Real Madrid siap menghentikan misi back to back to back Barcelona di Laliga. pic.twitter.com/lDVPsgHrCa— Siaran Bola Live (@SiaranBolaLive) August 17, 2026 The men allegedly claimed to be "cousins" of Real Madrid star Arda Guler and loudly demanded to be allowed through to see the players. The confrontation reportedly continued for around 10 minutes before a member of Schalke's media department approached them and requested to see their accreditation. The situation then reportedly became increasingly heated.Bild claims the three men verbally abused and threatened the Schalke employee. "The old woman clearly isn't right in the head, she's got something wrong with her. Get lost! Go away! Don't talk to us! If even one steward touches us, you'll see what happens," they are said to have shouted.🎥•Arda Güler signs a Fenerbahçe shirt after the match✍🏻🤍 pic.twitter.com/Csz99ho9b5— Arda Güler World (@GulerWorld) August 17, 2026 There was reportedly also a physical altercation when one of the men struck the woman's arm as she attempted to photograph them, apparently so that the individuals could potentially be identified and banned from the stadium in the future.Stewards in the area, along with additional security personnel who were called to the scene, are said to have initially been slow to intervene before eventually assisting the Schalke employee. The three men ultimately left the stadium while continuing to hurl abuse, bringing an otherwise positive evening for Schalke to an unpleasant conclusion.##NAJAVA_MECA_9895115##
