The major scandal surrounding the Portugal national team has overshadowed everything good the Portuguese have achieved in their previous three matches. So much so that even their opponents are adding fuel to the fire. Rasmus Hojlund was at the centre of attention last night. The Danish striker scored the equalizer in the 53rd minute before celebrating with his trademark jump and outstretched arms, accompanied by the inevitable “Siuuu”, just like Cristiano Ronaldo. An even more controversial incident occurred at the end of the match.##TWITTER_

🚨| DISRESPECT; Rasmus Højlund spanked Jorge Jesus on the chest after the game. Hojlund had every right to celebrate his goal however he wanted, but his reaction towards Jesus at the end of the match was, to say the least, impolite.##LINKED_NEWS_69521##“I just wanted to dedicate the goal to my idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, for everything he has done. I hope he knows that his legacy is greater than any difficult situation he is going through at the moment. Cristiano has made a name for himself that will never be forgotten in the history of this sport, and we will always remember him. There are so many players who grew up inspired by everything Ronaldo has done. He has given so much to this sport that I feel nothing but tremendous respect for him. When I finish my career, I will look back and realise how fortunate I was to grow up in the same era as my idol. This was just a small tribute to a man who has probably ended his international career,” Hojlund said after the match, although he did not explain what had happened with Jesus.UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE – DIVISION AFriday21.45: (1.53) Belgium (4.30) Turkey (6.00)21.45: (1.45) France (4.50) Italy (7.00)***odds are subject to change***—————————————————————UEFA – NATIONS LEAGUE BFriday21.45: (2.95) B&H (3.45) Sweden (2.35)21.45: (2.15) Hungary (3.35) Georgia (3.45)21.45: (1.58) Poland (4.00) Romania (5.90)21.45: (1.90) Ukraine (3.40) N.Ireland (4.30)***odds are subject to change***——————————————————————UEFA – NATIONS LEAGUE CFriday17.00: (1.70) Kazakhstan (3.45) Moldova (4.90)19.00: (2.30) Cyprus (3.25) Armenia (2.95)19.00: (4.10) Latvia (3.35) Montenegro (1.85)21.45: (6.00) Faroe I.
