Bizarre! Egypt boss ends up in hospital after his two wives’ public brawl

Egypt were one of the most pleasant surprises at the 2026 World Cup.The Pharaohs advanced from the group alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand as runners-up, tied on points with the Red Devils. They then eliminated Australia on penalties in the Round of 32 and came within touching distance of stunning the then-reigning world champions, Argentina, in the Round of 16.The African side led 2-0 until the 79th minute, before conceding three goals in the final stages of the game and suffering a devastating 3-2 defeat.

Nevertheless, the whole country was proud of Mohamed Salah and Co., who were welcomed as true Pharaohs upon their return. As a result, the national team head coach, Hossam Hassan, extended his deal until 2030. However, not everything is rosy in the life of the 60-year-old strategist. While his professional life has been terrific, his personal problems threatened to take a serious toll on his health – all because of his two wives?!

Media outlets around the world are abuzz with reports that the two women got into a physical altercation in a café at a prestigious hotel in Egypt’s North Coast region, with Hassan – according to Record – suffering a nervous breakdown and eventually collapsing while trying to separate them and stop the brawl! In the end, the tactician had to be hospitalized, while his private troubles made headlines across the globe. Fortunately, his condition is not serious, but what awaits him at home once he is discharged from the hospital is anything but pleasant.
