Murang’a Seal trailed 1-0 at half-time before conceding three more goals after the restart, leaving them facing a four-goal deficit with around 20 minutes remaining. However, Lopaga provided a late response, pulling one goal back 15 minutes from time before completing his brace five minutes later to give Seal renewed hope of mounting a comeback.Gor Mahia winger eyes improvement despite opening new season with braceDespite the defeat, Odhiambo was pleased with the forward's contribution, highlighting his ability to hold up the ball, link up play and occupy Gor Mahia’s central defenders.“He is intelligent. He was staying up, holding the ball and helping in link-up play. He did so well, and it is something positive to take into the matches,” he added. The performance offered Murang’a Seal a positive attacking takeaway despite their defensive struggles, with Lopaga’s display presenting Odhiambo with an option to consider as the campaign progresses.AFC Leopards’ blunt attack exposed as Bandari deny them winning startSeal will look to turn their attention to their next assignment against Posta Rangers, whom they are scheduled to host this weekend in their first home match of the season.
