The ‘D’ day for Argentina is getting closer. The whole nation is waiting for the match against Benin, in which their hero Lionel Messi will say goodbye to the national team. Apart from the lucky ones who will attend the match at the famous El Monumental (capacity 85000), the visiting team is also thrilled to be a part of the spectacle. Small African state Benin has been chosen as the opponent, and their players are also excited as they will see Lionel Messi for the first and last time on the pitch. Messi and his Argentina teammates are set to wear a commemorative Adidas shirt for the Benin match, created to mark the end of his international career with the Albiceleste. This shirt is already on sale in Mexico but the online shop ran out of shirts just hours after releasing them.##LINKED_NEWS_69614##For Benin midfielder Tijani Mohamed, this game will be all about celebrating Messi and getting his shirt after the game, even though the Argentinian will probably want to keep the shirt for himself, considering it will be his last game for the country.“Trust me, I will be taking Messi’s shirt home… I swear on my mother’s life. I will approach Messi and tell him: ‘Messi, I love you so much. Give me your shirt’” Tijani said.##LINKED_NEWS_69599##Mohamed also revealed that there will be no match plan for Argentina and that he and his teammates will just come out to enjoy the occasion.“I was called up to play vs. Argentina, Messi’s farewell game. We don’t even have to prepare for this game… We just want to enjoy. That’s all. There's no need to specifically mark Messi. I will look at him and say: 'Messi, you are God.' He is the best player in the world” he said.UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE – DIVISION ATuesday21.45: (7.75) Croatia (5.10) Spain (1.37)21.45: (1.13) England (9.00) Czech R. (17.0)***odds are subject to change***
