UEFA and FIFA are at full war over Gianni Infantino. After his latest scandal, which was an attempt to sell a stake in the World Cup to private investors, the major European football institution called for their former president to step down, which he not only refused to do, but even confirmed that he will run for re-election next year. UEFA said it has "lost confidence" in Infantino and has made legal applications in the US court system seeking disclosure of documents related to the private investor plan.
