MELBET Kenya Partners with Local CBO to Support 100 Families at Kahawa Community Cup 2026

MELBET Kenya has reaffirmed its commitment to community engagement through an outreach initiative in Kahawa Wendani, Nairobi, held in partnership with Galaxy Nairobi Wellness Organization, a local Community-Based Organization (CBO).

The initiative targeted 100 families for support through a gift-package programme held alongside the MELBET Kahawa Community Cup 2026. The tournament brought together 24 football teams, creating a platform for local talent, sportsmanship and community participation.

FRAY FC emerged as champions, followed by Zinco Mabati (FC Galaxy Ndo) in second place and Kahawa Eagles in third. The event, themed “100 Families, 100 Packages, One Community,” combined grassroots football with a family-focused outreach programme, highlighting the value of partnerships in bringing communities together and supporting local families.

Through its collaboration with Galaxy Nairobi Wellness Organization, MELBET supported an initiative that brought residents together through sport while placing community welfare at the heart of the event.

The Kahawa Community Cup demonstrates how grassroots sporting events can provide a platform for local talent, strengthen community connections and create opportunities for businesses and community organisations to work together.
