It’s September, but Manchester United are acting as it’s July. The Red Devils were not so active during the recently finished transfer window, but since the start of September, they have been looking at new players. We wrote about Manchester’s interest in Felix Nmecha from Borussia Dortmund and the British press is already adding another name – Jarrad Branthwaite. As much as Nmecha’s name was a surprise, mainly due to the fact that United already signed three new midfielders in July, the Everton defender totally makes sense.##LINKED_NEWS_69028##United started their squad rebuild last year, when they added three forwards to their ranks: Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha. This season, the midfield was revamped with Carlos Baleba, Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans. And while the recruitment success is yet to be judged, defence is next for a reshuffle, and additions are needed badly. So, Manchester turned to their old target and a talented defender. Both Manchester City and Real Madrid are also monitoring Branthwaite and his form, which is excellent so far.
